The Leadership Team for Partners Partners Steering Committee (PSC)

The Partners Steering Committee (PSC) represents the interest of and acts on behalf of Partners. The PSC and its Executive Committee are responsible for conducting the annual Teradata PARTNERS Conference and Expo. The PSC is comprised of both customer and Teradata representatives. PSC members communicate via monthly conference calls, participate in various conference related work groups, and attend two face-to-face planning sessions per year.

Global BI Architecture Lead

Troy Crites is a Data Platform Architect at Monsanto responsible for defining the strategy and engineering guidelines for all major data store platforms. He has 20 years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, database design, and data integration across several industries including manufacturing, consumer product goods, healthcare, and telecommunications. He specializes in designing and implementing large scale data warehousing solutions and has extensive experience in data architecture, data modeling, database optimization, agile and lean delivery, and master data management.


Director of Enterprise Marketing Technology Development

In this role, John has overall responsibility for the Marketing Database and Campaign/ Strategic Analytics platforms – including Data Development, Data Ownership and Development of application functionality. Previously, John held the position of Sr. Manager of Subscriber Retention Analysis, Segmentation and Optimization within CRM Marketing. Prior to SiriusXM, John held positions within Marketing, IT and Project Management across Subscriber Businesses and Financial Firms – most recently as a Manager of Database Marketing at an Agency where he supported Verizon Wireless National Acquisition efforts – overseeing implementation of a new Marketing Database, Campaign Management Platform and Enterprise BI Reporting Solution.

Paul Williams has 30 Years of Information Technology experience with a focus on Database Administration. Paul is currently the Teradata Administrator and Team Lead of DBA’s that support Teradata, Oracle, and DB2 LUW at a prominent Financial Services Company in Kansas City, MO.


Vice President, Global Technology - Enterprise Information Solutions

Cynthia is the Vice President of Data Services and responsible for the Data Strategy, Data Architecture and the delivery and support of reporting and analytic applications within Global Technology.

Cynthia and her team are developing the roadmap and strategy around IHG’s enterprise data and analytics. Her responsibilities include development of best practices around data design and data quality. These are the foundations for enabling many of the business functions that drive our business improvements. In addition Cynthia is responsible for the delivery and care for our analytic platforms that support our decision support analytics.

Cynthia joined IHG in 2013 from The Home Depot where she held numerous positions of increasing responsibility throughout her fifteen years there almost all within the realm of Data Strategy, Design and Reporting and Analytics. In 2009 Cynthia led Home Depot through a transformation of their reporting and analytic capabilities and assisted in driving the company to a single version of the truth in their metrics reporting.

Cynthia began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a principal consultant. There she developed an understanding of the software development lifecycle and spent most of her time working with telecommunications companies.

Cynthia received her B.S. degree from the Indiana University School of Business.


Director, Analytic Platforms

Kelly Cook is Director of Analytic Platforms at ConocoPhillips. His organization architects and delivers big data and analytic platforms to the data science, exploration, drilling, and production teams across the global footprint of ConocoPhillips. Their portfolio includes a primary data warehouse implemented with Teradata as well as high volume TAS (Teradata Analytics for SAP) replication environments. Previously, Kelly held a number of roles with Halliburton Energy Services and has over 17 years of experience in the exploration and production aspects of the Oil and Gas business.



Marketing Manager

DeAnna is the Marketing Manager for Hallmark’s consumer databases that include Hallmark’s loyalty program data and e-commerce data. She manages all of Hallmark’s consumer data hygiene and data enrichment processes. DeAnna has more than fifteen years of experience working with Teradata CIM (Customer Interaction Manager), is the CIM Administrator and is Hallmark’s expert on the “retailerization” process. She is also the business lead for Marketing’s IT projects.

Lennie Colborne is the Manager of Enterprise Data Integration at McCain Foods Limited. He has more than fifteen years of corporate and consulting experience providing solutions in agriculture, energy, finance and manufacturing industries. Lennie is responsible for providing data integration and database services to support the Enterprise Data Warehouse and its global user community. He manages several blended teams combining in-house and offshore resources to provide ETL development and administration, Teradata database administration, and EDW operational support.


Head of IT for Manufacturing and Operations

Steve leads the IT organization for NXP’s global manufacturing and operations division, responsible for all applications and infrastructure required to produce the semiconductors that power today’s cars, smart devices, secure transactions, and the IOT.

Steve has spent almost 20 years in semiconductor manufacturing, mostly in engineering and data science roles; joining IT in 2013 initially to lead the DW, BI and Advanced Analytics teams. Since joining IT, Steve has had executive IT responsibility for Sales and Marketing, R&D, ERP S&OP, and now, Manufacturing and Operations. Bringing a business centric view to IT, Steve helps to build strong alignment between the needs of our business teams and the capabilities that IT can deliver. Increasingly IT, and in particular data analytics, have the ability to build strategic advantages in the marketplace; and being focused on market success alongside the business teams is critical to capturing that advantage.

Matthew Laney is the Enterprise Information Architect for Southeastern Grocers, home of BI-LOL, Harveys and Winn-Dixie. He has more than 30 years of retail experience, with 11 years of experience in Teradata Data Warehousing. Matthew has held various roles throughout the organization and has worked with the company’s Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) since its inception. In 2005, he transferred from the business side of the organization to IT to continue to guide the development of the EDW. He has since served as Manager of Business Intelligence, Manager of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence and most recently was promoted to Enterprise Information Architect. The company's Data Warehouse supports over 5,000 users in their corporate offices, regional facilities and retail locations.


VP, Architecture and Data Management
American Cancer Society, Inc.

As Vice President of Architecture and Data Management for the American Cancer Society, Blake Sanders is focused on the strategic planning of processes to store, manage and protect all Society data, ensuring all users have reliable and timely information at their disposal. He also handles improvements to the security of information, as well as takes the lead on enterprise IT strategy, solution design, business intelligence and data management.

With over 25 years of technology behind him, his background has involved application design and development, but most of his career has been spent in data—transforming information into value, as well as evolving legacy enterprises into scalable and adaptable architectures.

Before joining the Society, Blake served as director of enterprise architecture and data services with Access Insurance. His experience also includes CompuCredit Corp., where he served as executive director of enterprise development and data services.

Raised in Houston, Texas, Blake attended Texas A&M College of Engineering, where he studied computer science. He resides with his wife and one son in Atlanta, GA.

Todd is Vice President of Product Management at Teradata overseeing business alignment, technical aspects of the product and services offering, product content and investment allocation. He also manages program realization, product deployment and global sales support. Previously, Todd was responsible for the overall development strategy of the Teradata R&D organization focused on emerging technologies and markets. Prior to R&D, he was a Partner in the Professional Services Group within Teradata Government Systems, managing the federal civilian practice focusing on the delivery and execution of Teradata solutions. He previously led the Platform and Systems Group within Teradata Product Management, where he was responsible for product strategy, product lifecycle management and business analysis for research and development. In the 1990s, Todd managed IT infrastructure projects in the telecommunication and energy sectors for EDS.

Raghu is the GM and Vice President of Engineering for Aster Labs at Teradata. In this role, he is responsible for Teradata Aster Analytics platform, a set of advanced analytics functions, including Path, Text, Graph, Machine Learning, Sensor, to provide easy insights for business analysts and data scientists on Multi-Genre analytics from one SQL query. Raghu owns all of product development, quality engineering and software delivery.

Raghu is a seasoned product development executive with experience in commercial enterprise software at both large and small startup companies. He has over 25 years of experience in advanced analytics, business intelligence, big data, cloud services and enterprise software development. Prior to Teradata he served as the VP of Engineering at Jolata a real-time, Big Data analytics platform to help network service providers manage their wireless network infrastructure. Prior to Jolata, Raghu spent 11 years at Oracle and Hyperion where he headed up product strategy and platform architecture for the Hyperion suite of products. He served as a data architect at Jamcracker and at Sabre.

Raghu is active in the Silicon Valley tech corridor with speaking engagements, networking events and hosting meetups. Raghu holds graduate degree in engineering from Tennessee Tech University.

Kathy Hastings is responsible for directing all strategy and logistics for Teradata’s annual PARTNERS conference. She also owns the global implementation of SMMP at Teradata in addition to managing the sourcing and planning for meetings in the America’s at Teradata. Kathy has more than 30 years experience in the meetings and hospitality industry. Prior to joining Teradata in 2012, Kathy held multiple positions within Anheuser-Busch. Successfully opening Kingsmill Resort, managing conference services and corporate planning were among the many responsibilities during her 25 years of service at AB.

Vice President, General Manager of Quality and Performance Engineering

Keith is Vice President and General Manager of Quality and Performance Engineering within Teradata Labs. In addition to the continuous development and execution of customer representative workloads, he is focused on the early identification and validation of performance enhancements for Teradata Labs products along with competitive customer benchmarking.

Previously, Keith was VP/GM of Teradata Enabling Solutions. The organization delivered solutions comprising Teradata Tools and Utilities, the Unity product suite, Viewpoint, BAR solutions and Teradata Vital Infrastructure. He has extensive experience with managing strategic partnerships as well as joint developments. His development experience includes the design and development of high availability and operating system level solutions.

Keith has a BS in Computer Science. Additional education includes the Executive Program for Scientists and Engineers at UC San Diego and an Advanced Partner Management Program at Cranfield University School of Management.

Martin leads Teradata’s International Big Data CoE, a team of Data Scientists, Technology and Architecture Consultants charged with assisting Teradata’s International customers to realise value from their Analytic data assets.

Martin has 19 years of experience in the IT industry. Since joining Teradata in 2004, Martin has worked in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Demand Generation, Technology Marketing and Management roles. Prior to joining Teradata, Martin was the Data Warehouse Manager at Co-operative Retail (UK) and later the Senior Data Architect at Co-operative Group (UK).

Martin holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Sheffield and a Postgraduate Certificate in Computing for Commerce and Industry from the Open University. He is listed in dataIQ’s “Big Data 100” as one of the most influential people in data-driven business. Outside of work, Martin is a married father of three boys, a lapsed Sheffield Wednesday Football Club fan and an amateur glider pilot.
