“It’s amazing what you can do with data when you have an architecture that supports millions, billions, trillions of data points and that can scale and go with you places, from your data center into the cloud into your managed cloud into your own hardware environment powering use cases like this and many, many more.

Now I have a call to action here for all of you as you go home. I really would like you to take some time and start driving change within your companies. It’s about embracing change that comes from digitalization. You said on the first day that change can be painful. Change can be scary. Change is a good thing today and we need to embrace that and we need to drive that into our companies. We do it at Teradata. You all need to do it at your companies.

Find places where your analytical processes, engines, and tools can be automated, integrated, and redefined. It is so important to drive automation and DevOps into the companies to enable things at scale to happen. We are not talking about one experiment that you are driving with data; you should be focusing on thousands of experiments. As we heard, it’s not one customer journey; it’s millions of customer journeys. We can only do that with a level of automation and that needs to be driven into the organization.

And third, do an assessment of your capabilities and look at your business imperatives. Does your technology stack live up to where you want to be in three … in five … in seven … in ten years? Starting with an assessment is really important to know where you are today and it enables you to really plan roadmaps and take your infrastructure to the next level.

Regardless of your goals, we can help you implement the right digitalization strategy, one that leverages the power of data and analytics. As we talked about, business solutions led by architecture expertise, implemented on technology solutions, that can scale and are the best in class in private, private cloud, public cloud, managed cloud environments so that you have the flexibility to build hybrid environments that implement the business solution that you require.

With that, I would really like to thank all of you, this week, for investing your time to stay here with us for several days. I know how busy you all are, this is really important that you did this, and it means a lot to us that you did it. I hope that you enjoyed PARTNERS this year, I hope you learned new things. We certainly did. I spoke to a lot of customers in one-on-one meetings and I’ve learned something out of every single meeting. We are looking forward to being back next year and helping you.”
